The Border Flywheeler’s Club was established in 1995 with the aim of collecting, restoring and exhibiting tractors, machinery, engines and other artefacts used by the farming community along the Murray Darling Basin.

The Club consists of a group of likeminded volunteers who enjoy these activities and see the need to preserve this history.  As we say, “Once it is gone, it is gone forever” and “Preserving our Grandparents past for our Grandchildren’s future”

The Club, which is housed in the old Jamieson Brickworks, is instrumental in providing members with a friendly environment where we can come together to keep our minds and bodies active while doing what we love.

Younger members are also encouraged to continue this work by the older members passing on their knowledge.

Our ladies are also very active collecting and displaying household goods and have excellent kitchen, laundry, hospital and dining room displays.

Our Museum offers catering for morning or afternoon teas. Meals are also available for Group bookings by request.

As shown by the 3 brick chimneys, our buildings still house 2 of the original brick kilns. There are interesting stories about these kilns on how the bricks were fired by burning redgum logs over a period of days.

We have a Fowler Ploughing Engine along with many other stationary engines and tractors so visitors can see how these engines worked back as far as 1900.
